This 6x6 card is cased from the Stampdenous website. Since the daisy is so large I opted to use sponges and stampinup inks to color it, then fussy cut it out. The flower petals were highlighted with a white gel pen. I hand cut, mitered the corners and assembled the frame by hand, then stamped with the Hardwood stamp using chocolate chip ink on kraft cardstock. I learned from my dear friend Loretta that doing the Frantage technique seen on the lower corner of frame works best when done in an electric fry pan. Use Versamark ink, then sprinkle on the embossing powers, glitters and mica flakes you want to use. Place your piece in an electric fry pan lined with aluminum foil on a fairly high tempererature, and voila! The Impression Obsession butterfly was cut so the entire back of the butterfly had 2-sized scoretape on it, then adhere the top detail layer of the butterfly, then rub glitter into the open areas. Attached frame to card base that was first sponged in Tim Holtz Stormy Sky distress ink, then adhered the daisy and the butterfly. I really enjoyed doing all the steps required to make this card and watching it all come together at the end.
