A big congrats to Stephanie, the newest Featured Stamper! What a wonderful gallery! I didn't have to go far to find THIS set of cards to case. I'm also a fan of Mondrian so this was an easy choice.
I thought Stephanie's set of cards looked so cool & I just bought this embossing folder that reminded me so much of the graphic design of her cards. The only way I could think of to add the color to it (coloring some of the little squares didn't work...believe me, I tried), was to emboss little rectangles & circles & add them on top. I also drew a few black lines w/ a pen & ruler. After I did that, I added a couple of black die cut frames & w/ little strips of color behind the inside one. Then I came across this Hero Arts stamp set I've never used & the greeting letters look just like one of the frames. Perfect!
Congrats again, Stephanie! Thanks so much for looking. Closeups are on my blog: The Write Stuff
