This is where I'll be in another week!! I can't wait for my vacation in a cabin by the lake. My bg is made with brushos and highlighted in spots with gesso to soften the edge between the water and the sand. I also applied some to the water. I added a bit of distress ep and distress stickles to the beach to give it texture. I had to include the fish skeleton..better than seeing a fresh dead fish...The sentiment is one of my faves and goes so well with Northwoods stamps.

I love beaches at rivers...so relaxing and usually someone (my sweet hubby) is along the stream fishing too! Beautiful Polly, showing what is going on under the water as well as the river and cabin on top! Thanks for playing!

The little framed cabin scene looks wonderful in this pretty beach scene. You did a great job adding texture to the sand. I agree with you that the sentiment is perfect.
