This is for IC551 and Craft-Tim Holtz Pinterest site was our Inspiration site today. When I opened the site I instantly started feeling overwhelmed as so much of Tim's technique and style takes me so far out of my wheelhouse. But I was drawn to so many gorgeous pieces and finally settled on the Paper Roses as a starting point for my card. I started digging through some of my Spellbinders flowers and decorative dies that were dusty from not being used in so long. In stead of making rolled roses I wanted to create my roses in the same style as the inspiration. If you click on the photo it takes you to a step by step tutorial on how to make them. When I had the basic design of foliage and flowers attached to my card base I felt the green foliage overwhelmed the delicate pink roses. I started painting the smaller foliage with gold Wink of Stella to soften. From there I added I cut more of the small foliage in white and painted with the gold Wink of Stella. The gold just didn't show up well on the green foliage. I added gold to the rose petal edges for another touch of vintage. I finished by making a gold organdy multi loop bow and heated it with my heat gun to crinkle and curl the loops and streamers.

WOWZERS! I am amazed at how beautiful your spray is! Each leaf and flower is a work of art! Beautifully inspired design! I could think of a ton of purposes and whatever the reason, the recipient would be tickled pink! Straight to my favs! Thanks so much for the tutorial, this will be what I will work on tomorrow!
