My favourite subject - Mermaids and sea creatures. In my next life I am coming back as one - guess I should start growing my hair now.
I stamped and coloured the image with Derwent Inktense pencil and highlighted her with lots of gel glitter pens. I then water coloured a background behind her using the Derwent Pencils.
The sea background was watercoloured in beautiful sea colours and the sprinkled with salt and let try giving the blotchy background - which now reminds me of a coral reef.
To finish I stamped and cut out the sentiment and die cut two little seahorses from scraps of water coloured paper.
Hope you enjoy my little underwater scene.

Lovely mermaid! And a super job using those Inktense pencils. There is something magical about the sea and the creatures that live beneath it, and your card depicts that in a wonderful way. Love the bit of sparkle.
