blend the pixie pink, brocade blue and the summer sun in patches all over the inside of your large circle stencil, you want light brush strokes so the blending looks like airbrushing and you get a nice mottled colour effect. next go round the edges inside the stencil with the bordering blue you want a nice soft line for the circle. everything should look soft and dappled. take the stencil off and cover the sphere you just made leaving the sides uncovered, you need to cover the circle so you don't stamp on it. stamp up the dandelion frame in black and place it down one side, still leaving the stencil on, brush over with the green so you get a nice soft edge to the length and sides of the stamp. next take your stencil off and using the going grey, gently work out from one edge of the circle and using a soft brush gently start to push the colour out in sweeping motions until you get a nice soft shadow, also use some grey on the inside of the bottom of the circle using gentle sweeping motions. the final touch is to put your stencil back over the cicle so you can add embossing ink and then add clear embossing powder and heat until its melted, it gives it a nice shine.

Wow! First of all, congratulations on your very first upload to SCS, and what an amazing card! Thank you for sharing how you've achieved this amazing effect! I am in awe of how it looks like a semi-circle atop the card. And the fairy riding her seahorse is truly magical! I love this technique and hope to see a tutorial soon! I'm guessing you may do one?
Having been here at SCS for more than a year, you are well aware of the inspiration and encouragement Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful work! Hugs!
P. S. You might want to go to the Forum, "Start Here" and get familiar with SCS and perhaps introduce yourself (by starting a new thread). Here's a direct link.
