I've been wasting a lot of paper and ink lately. Haven't been able to put together anything I felt was worth looking at. Kind of like writer's block. I wasn't even able to salvage any parts of what I had been making. Fierce sticking glue, unwielding foam tape and several crumpled up wads of frustrating CS made that impossible. Felt it was time to take a stroll to Joann's, Michael's or my favorite LSS to get some inspiration....and, of course, buy something new to get the creative juices flowing again. I had been considering the Poppystamp die with the group of butterflies for some time now, but just never got around to getting it. Just happened to run into it in my LSS and grabbed it. I had always pictured it with some of the gorgeous Paper Mojo papers behind it. The one I chose to use with it was their gold cork paper. I was happy with how it looked but then added the gold filigree butterfly for just a little added zing and raised it all up with foam tape. So now that I've been infused with a few more creative juices you will probably be seeing more of my butterfly herd...and hopefully other creations too. I tend to get carried away when I latch onto something I really like. Thanks for looking. Have a great week!

Well I would certainly say your mojo came back ten fold. This is just lovely. The extra gold butterfly die cut looks fantastic. Just using the gold paper was genius...I always have to use all the crayons in the box. Just gorgeous...faved.

Oh, how I think you're definitely on to something big here, Ms. Ellen. Sounds like we both had horrendous disappointments today. Some days are just like that. Dang. At least you finally ended with something that's delightful and so pleasing to the eyes. For the CC challenge, I ended up uploading the wrong card. Don't tell anyone. I couldn't stand the card I actually made. I don't know what I was thinking. I kept coloring the same image time and time again and still no mojo happenin' down her in NC. I'm actually glad my laptop is screwed up because I ended up liking the wrong card better than the one I intended to upload. Strange how some things work out like that. I love your mojo gold cork. It really is stunning.
Adding the foam dots to your BF took this card right up there to the ultimate top of the game, my friend. It's gorgeous. Now, onto the next card....come back again tomorrow. Hugs

Oh, sweet Ellen, I'm not alone, eh? Been there a lot myself, but I'm so glad a trip to your LSS helped get those creative juices flowing. And did they ever! I love this butterfly "herd" -- hehe! You always make me smile! And I love the gold with the cork background and love the popped butterfly! Beautifully done, and (like Anne said) on to the next card. It's all we can do! Big hugs, sweet friend! I LOVE it! xoxo
