This is my card for the CAS380 challenge "Polka Stripes!" - to combine BOTH stripes and dots...but still keep it CAS and not too busy! This may verge on "too busy", LOL!
The patterned paper was upcycled from a card I received about a year ago - so glad I kept it. This card was a snap. I kept about an inch of the back side to serve as a flap and attached a slightly longer piece of heavy black cs. I colored through a stencil with Stardust Gelly Roll pen to continue the dots theme.
The white die cuts were treated to a coat of glitter spray before I added the flower center and the sentiment. I dotted the flower center and traced over the sentiment with the Stardust pen to coordinate with the bottom of the card. Super simple and super quick!
As always, thanks for looking!

I just LOVE that paper! What a great way to recycle a card! The sparkle you added really jazzed it up too. I'd definitely call this CAS! This is so upbeat due to the wonderful, bright colors!

Jody, this is a lovely thank you card, I love that you got to re-use the paper and it could not be more perfect for this challenge! Love the pretty white flower and it's centre!

It's really special (to me) to be able to up cycle a card someone has given me. I think your card is perfect for both CAS and dots. No, not too busy for me. Super easy and quick is something we stampers all appreciate. This one is very special, Ms. Jody.
