I made my oranges with a beautiful sunset picture from a TX Highways magazine. I really hated to cut anything out of it but had to make the sacrifice. Made the frame from more of the page. I did add some green to the leaves with a marker over the page color and some white craft ink over the inside peel and the blossoms.

Wasn't it worth making the sacrifice ;-). It looks beautiful, those sunset hues are perfect for the citrus fruits and make a fabulous frame. I'm a little envious of those of you who had more interesting colour palettes to play with than DH's motorcycle magazines afforded me. I even took three so I might have the best possible sampling. The gold and green foliage is really lovely too.
