But right after that, everything went haywire. (If you've ever seen haywire after it comes off the bale, you'll know what I mean.)
I started out thinking a butterfly reflected in a mirror would be a great picture. (Why do I try to be an artist!) I had sponged the sky and sea (for reflection) As you can see, the sea morphed into green grass and we now have two butterflies dancing in the sunshine and enjoying the flowers near the subdivision.
The butterflies are die cut from a burger box and a piece of vintage sheet music that I had first glued onto cardstock to stiffen and then die cut. The edges of the butterflies are also inked with Ranger Distressed Vintage Photo. It's a beautiful summer day and I like it.

I like your inspiration and your scene is lovely. Those houses are just so cute. I also like a beautiful summer day with the butterflies fluttering around.

What an ingenious card. Why do try to be an artist? You are an artist. Go back and look at you're gallery and you'll see why you continue to try. I love your card. It's so you and so fun.

I do love seeing your work with those burger boxes! How clever this is! What a fun description you wrote too! That happens here a lot. My idea never really does materialize. Love the neutrals, Carol and love your thought process!
