The focal image for this card was created using a technique demonstrated by Kristina Werner in
The image was cut with a stitched rectangle die and matted before being attached to the offset front of the card base. The front of the card base is covered with a taupe cs; the scalloped edge is actually attached to the inside back of the card. The die cut sentiment is adhered with Zig two-way glue pen. I added a few scattered "dew drops" by applying drops of Glossy Accents in various sizes and letting them dry.
As always, thanks for looking!

This looks like flowers seen through a rain splattered window....the bg has such a nice blurry feel. What soft, comforting colors, and the little "dew" drops are a very cleaver addition.

Love it when you let your mind go wild with such an imaginative technique - this card front, so different yet works so well with the pierced panel and the way you did your flowers - very dreamy look!!

This one is GORGEOUS! Love the stitched rectangle dies used on it and the soft wash in the background is so beautifully done! Love the way you designed this, with the scallops being on the inside of the card! Your die cut sentiment is the perfect finishing touch!

BEAUTIFUL sympathy card, Jody. Your "dusky" tones with the watercolors seem so appropriate for this type of card. The white embossing was a brilliant idea.
