This is for MIX174 to create a beach themed card with text. I was excited to get to play in this challenge today as I don't get to often. I used Distress Inks, Distress Markers and Embossing Paste for my scene. I created a mask to frame the scene. I wanted an all white edge. I know that my waves look like they will come in and wash the beach chair away but I loved making the waves high with the paste. I have only used embossing paste a couple of times so it is new me. I dabbed it on with my finger to spread and soften it. I have had the new Hello Summer set for a little white and hadn't used it. I thought the sentiment looked good stamped up in the sky area even though it is really large. I liked the simplicity of the beach, water, a couple of birds and just one chair.
You can see more details and photos on my blog post at Kittie Kraft.

Your card is such a tempting invitation and love all these wonderful details of this perfect scene. One of my favorite places to be.

What a gorgeous scene! I love the textures! That deckled edging takes me back to those old family black and white photos with the white frames and deckled edges. I could just step into your card and relax. :-)

My sentiments exactly! Great texture and die cuts - but I love that sentiment. Beautiful, Kittie! Hugz

I love that the chair might be in danger. We all know it's not because such a beautiful wave would gracefully fall short. Thank you so much for your gorgeous entry in the Mix-Ability challenge!
