I love to sew on cards..I know people are amazed that you can sew on paper..yes, you can! It might be hard to see all my stitching on the bg..I wanted this to look like vines so I did several free form squiggly lines. I added some extra flowers and popped up my garden lady. And before you ask..it was a bit difficult to fussy cut around her leafy neck ;)

I really like your wavy stitching, Polly - it's like quilting with the pretty floral DP. Love the way you popped up the extra flowers on it. That lady is such a "you" stamp - and great fussy cutting on it, too.

Polly your Lady is beautiful and all that fussy cutting around her leafy neck oh girl you did an amazing job! Super stunning stitch work on this beautiful BG. I am looking forward to being able to stitch on my cards again...the sewing machines are packed up for the move...just a bit longer. Giggles!!! Thank you for creating such a stunning card for the In Stitches challenge. Hugs!

Incredible card and your sewn vines are great, Polly. The design, colors and subject remind me so much of the ads that are appearing on TV for Tim Burton's new "Alice Through the Looking Glass"....his movies are always visually stunning.

Oh, Polly, I love the free-form quilting you've down with your stitching! It's beautiful and reminds me of some of the quilts I made with free-form stitching to finish it. And I love this fun vintage gal and your fussy cutting. The background DP is beautiful and really adds so much for your card! I love it! Hugs, sweet friend!

I can see the stitching on your background perfectly, Polly, and I love the way you mimicked the vines with the stitching! "Sew" creative as always! I also love your garden lady!

This is one of my favorites of all the wonderful cards you've done! There is a great design flow with your stitching. The color combinations are just perfect...vintage and cheerful. TFS
