I stamped and embossed each of my sewing elements on scraps of colored stock and then fussy cut. Laid out my "quilt blocks" using a combination of shadow stamps and layered stitched papers. Then adhered my elements into the blocks.

Love that sewing machine - it's like my first one, only my dad painted it up in blue and white with little flowers on it. I like the blocked layout - it works with the sewing vibe, and I especially like the way you have the stamped block behind the scissors.

Oh my goodness I love the wonderful sentiment on this and the antique scissors are so beautiful. My grandma gave me her antique scissors and they look just like your darling image. This is so beautifully put together and love the blocked layout on this it works perfectly with the images. Thank you for creating such s cute card for the In Stitches challenge!

I learned to sew on an old Singer, black of course, like yours! What a fun card with the sewing implements in blocks.
