Loved the sketch to-day. I am still playing with my watercolours and managed to doodle this flower very quickly. I love Lydia's technique found here MIX 170 - April Showers bring May Flowers by UnderstandBlue at Splitcoaststampers . She does an excellent job explaining what to do. The marble paper is something that I found while bunging out one of my containers. I made it years ago at our ATC group and thought it turned out quite well so I packed it away for posterity! LOL Now is the time to use it!!! The background paper is some old gift wrap also stored away for a rainy day...can you say 'pack-rat'??????

The flower is lovely - but I have to admit the marbled paper caught my eye first off, it reminds me of some Indian paper I got once in a wedding supplies shop. It works really well "exploded out" for the side of the sketch.
