I was curious to try Lori's Stamped Masking tutorial. As I suspected, mine was a bit messy. I have another more abstract piece which I like - this was the best of three. For one, my masking fluid is old and a bit runny - couldn't find a newer bottle which must have got moved when I had a leaky roof a few months ago), and then I found that it was really difficult to spread an even coat on the craft mat, which kept repelling it. But I love the look and will probably try again when I find the other masking fluid.
I used LOTV Antebellum papers as they seemed to pick up on the Sand acrylic mist. Laid a white trellis over the base and added the layered sentiment panel. And then, for the current April Showers may bring ODBD FLowers challenge, I decorated it with asters cut from white card, and Bitty Blossoms cut from the rest of the stamped masking piece. Liquid Pearl accents finish it off, and it will be going postal tomorrow.
Oh, I used some chunky gold EP on it, too.

This is lovely, Sabrina. Your muted colors and textures are so pretty and are the perfect backdrop for your very comforting sentiment. The white trellis is the perfect adfition, and I love the flowers. Just beautiful.

The technique came out great, I love the asters and liquid pearls, and the trellis die looks awesome with the cool background peeking through! Fabulous card!
