Combining several challenges:
WT583 - Use Cat (or owl)
MMTPT407 - Mother's Love - feminine, soft colors, butterflies, thinking of you
MIX172 - Wallpaper inspiration - use two Medias - stamp with ink pad, watercolor with ink refills, and color directly with markers on image and along edge.
IC533 - Inspiration - Total Wall Covering
I was intrigued with the Mix Media Challenge to be inspired by wallpaper however I was unsure of a source. Then I remembered an Inspiration Challenge for a wallpaper website. I had always wanted to repeat that one, so I decided to use that as my groundwork. I had my Meow Meow stamp set already out and it was purrrfect for this one.
IC533 & MIX172- Wallpaper inspiration - see my choice here: http://totalwallcovering.com/p38505/...ns-border.aspx
I stamped & heat embossed one of the kitten images. Then I used a Circle Framelit as a template to lightly pencil a circle around the embossed kitten. I used the penciled circle as a guide to randomly stamped flowers in similar colors as the wallpaper. Afterwards, I gently erased the circle. Last but not least, I added some die-cut, embossed butterflies.
Thanks for looking!

What a fabulous frame round your sweet kitty, Diane. I thought at first maybe it was one of the Rubber Stamp Tapestry sets - well done for assembling such a great collection of diverse stamps to make such a beautiful frame.

What a pretty wreath around the kitty! The colors are so springy! Is Springy a word? The colors are pretty anyway!
And I love those sweet little butterflies. I use them quite a lot with flowers, too!

This is just as sweet as can be and I love seeing the older SU sets used here! I Still have Bow Wow, which was the dog set at the time Meow Meow was current : ) I also LOVE the way you used the Watercolor Minis set to create your pretty wreath around your kitty image. Just a delightful card!

Such a cute spring card. I like the way you framed the kitty with the spring flowers. Frosted here last two nights, guess my garden is gone. Your car really makes me want the flowers to bloom.
