Today we celebrate the birth of Edward Lear - and the WT challenge is 'The Owl and the Pussycat' - variations thereof! Having nothing in my crafty stash to come close, I computer generated the message and cranked up my Cricut! I punched out the owl first and sized the other elements accordingly. Can't wait to come back later and see some 'proper' cards from grown-ups!

There's nothing not "proper card" about this, Sandie. I love the book illustration style of the silhouettes...and with a fun pun and both the owll and the cat you have a winner here. I don't think I've ever seen the owl punch as a silhouette before, very effective. I can only think it's the nautical feel that is reminding me of a couple of holidays visiting friends in Falmouth.

I love your silhouettes, Sandie! Having the owl on the piling at the ocean's edge is fabulous!! What a wonderful card!
