Our CAS376 challenge today is to make a card for a special lady. Well, I think this quote can be inspiring to any woman and I will probably be giving it to one of my young adult daughters.
First, I used the monoprinting technique with the stencil on wc cs (apply ink to solid portion of stencil/spritz with water), then stamped the butterflies over that, and finally, put the stencil back on and sponged and splattered (w/ diluted ink and acrylic paint) the open areas in the stencil. Raised the main panel w/ dimensionals. I think it may be a bit busy for true CAS, but there are no embellishments at least and there is SOME white space!!

Beauty Maura - wonderful butterflies dancing through the beautiful background - that is a beautiful sentiment too. Thanks for joining in with the CAS challenge today.

Perfectly CAS in my book, and oh so lovely. First, I LOVE the quote you've used, then butterflies are my favorite, and orange is my favorite color. You've hit the nail on the head with this stunning card.
