Hello, there! A huge thanks to Audrie for always picking wonderful inspiration for us. This week's IC544 Challenge is from Pinterest Board: Beautiful Single Layer Cards.
Before I settled on this design I took text paper and played around with about 7 different designs including one that looked similar to THIS. I wasn't really satisfied with my results as it didn't have the impact of the Pin. THIS also caught my eye when I was browsing originally and it reminded me of Kelly's fun TLC583 sketched stamping challenge a few weeks ago so I thought I would give it a try with the leaf.
I stamped and masked one of the leaves from Red Rubber Designs set, "Luscious Leaves" and sketched the image in with a pencil and a blending stump. The sentiment is from Red Rubber Designs, "Wherever You Go"
TFL!

I love that you used that pencil technique......your card is truly inspired by the card you chose, but is so much more "impactful" in black and white! Fab sentiment as well!

WOW! BEAUTIFUL! (I tried but I couldn't do it LOL!) You're amazing! You've fully captured the faux layering with your shadows, and it resulted in such a realistic and beautiful card design! Fav'd and Pinned!
