This card is for today's Inspiration Challenge to do a one layer card. I almost never do one layer cards so this really is a challenge. Thank you Audrie for this fabulous board. I will be going back to it when I need support for doing better CAS designs. I was inspired by this card:
I am uncomfortable with lots of white space, so I knew I needed to use a larger stamp image and some kind of texture in the background for my personal comfort level. I used a TH stencil that I have had for a couple of years and did not like my one attempt to use it. This time I chose a neutral color (gray). I sponged only part of the stencil. Then I colored this stamp image (which I have owned for years and never stamped with it) with my markers, spritzed and stamped. I did not love the loss of detail from spritzing so I ended up going back in with blender pens and markers to add more detail back in. I stamped a greeting and added some black pearl pen dots to the center of the flowers. I also added some stardust gel pen to the flowers and stems to give them some shimmer.

GORGEOUS!! I'm going to have to say that you are a true expert at those techniques! I love the effect you got from the stencil, and how crisp your image is on top of it! You bring honor to the beautiful card you were inspired by! A delightful inspiration genius card for sure!
