Libby, at Watercooler Wednesday challenges, gave us a very nice sketch to work with. And I loved making this card with that sketch in mind. If you would like to see what Watercooler Wednesday Challenge is all about, just check them out here: http://watercoolerchallenges.blogspot.com/
The design team is really terrific.
My faux embossed background was inspired by Mary Brown, aka stampercamper. She did a lovely background with balloons, tone on tone. It is a wonderful card! Thanks, Mary. I had to add a step to my faux embossed background, because I had to fold the tag punch to look like little envelopes. It took 15 of these little envelopes with the way I laid them out.
I think my classes, who still believe in snail mail and use it on a regular basis will love this project.
Thanks for looking. Susie

Your card made me smile, Susie! Love the colours and that adorable little snail. What a lot of work, folding those 15 tags for your tone-on-tone background, but in the end, what an awesome effect! Love the faux envelopes! They add texture and so much interest. Thank you for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge again this week.
