This is for Toni's WTUI challenge - you can find out all about it here: WT582 ~ School Supplies .
A recent birthday gift provided some perfect stamps to use! I stamped, coloured and fussy-cut the brush, glue and scissors. For my base, I pulled out a pad of grid paper...and since it had a sheet I had been using for creating pillow-top backgrounds, I thought why not use that! I made a little chalkboard sentiment, layered it onto some faux wood and stapled a ribbon tab on. After playing around with layouts, I decided to add some stamping under the tip of the brush - and then called it done. Not my normal style but I like the way the elements and sentiment work together.

Love all the school supplies and that chalkboard is awesome! Being a teacher I hated when they took away my chalkboard and replaced it with a white board with the dry erase markers!

Super cute card Sabrina! I love the grid and the sponging to create the used space that is so clever to use that on your card base. Great chalk board too!

Wow! You went 'all out' with your supplies and theme. I love that sentiment and your 'fussy' cutting is amazing. You must really have a steady hand. Great card.
