I'm still finishing off my April quota for the SCS Christmas Card Challenge. The April theme was peace which could include a peaceful snow scene. This little cabin looks like a very peaceful place to me.
I created a background using the embossing folder stamping technique and various blue Distress inks. I used the same Distress colours but the stains rather than the inks to paint the sky in my focal image. I added some watercolour paints to the trees and cabin, then went over the snowy parts of the image with white Wink of Stella, and finished off by heat embossing with a sprinkling of white Frantage embossing powder. It's popped up on fun foam to give it some dimension from the background.

Beautifully done, Susan! Love the serenity of the scene you created as well as that fabulous embossing folder stamping! That still mystifies me since I just couldn't get it for some reason. LOVE the results of yours as well as the added chunky powder!
