This is my second card using this technique. I first lightly stamped the image in the basic grey, then watercolored part of the image. The streak came about because I accidentally dripped ink on my paper when watercoloring. Sometimes we have happy accidents because I really like how the streak turned out.
I sketched over the uncolored flowers with pencil and then sketched over the colored flower/leaf using a few sizes of multi-liners. I wanted this card to have the feel of a drawing where you see the idea and the finished product.
I also sketched over the sentiment for a hand lettered look. I may have been a bit too careful, it probably should be a bit rougher.
To add a bit of sparkle I used a mister with a few drops of plum ink and rubbing alcohol to dye the glimmer paper.

Wonderful artwork using the technique! Your penciling is very pretty! Jeanne, the accidental streak looks great to me as it appears to be a mountain range separated by land!

The streak was indeed a lucky accident, I think it really adds to the card. And I love your combination of simple pencilled flower and coloured one. What a beautiful design all round.
