Lydia gave us a mix challenge to do loose water colored flowers. My tulips were done petal by petal. Did one petal and let it dry, and went on to the next. They are not as loose as Lydia's video, but I have some bad habits from painting with acrylics, and do brush strokes. Finished with the leaves, and did the banner with a pen and nib using white for the sentiment, and black for the flower stamens . Did a border around the card front. TFL

You have to have patience to do watercolor...the waiting for it to dry takes time. Your tulips are gorgeous! I love the framing and the sentiment banner..very classy.

What a beautiful piece, Linda! If you have bad habits, none of us ever saw them! Your petals are formed beautifully and I agree with Polly, the patience to be able to walk away and let it dry. Outstanding painting, Linda and I enjoy seeing every single one of them. Your pen and ink sentiment- gorgeous!
Absolutely beautiful! Bad habits couldn't have turned out anything this lovely.
