This is probably what Rufus looked like as a puppy. We got him in 2006 when he was a year old. The look on the face of this doggy is identical to the look Rufus always had when he was listening. He was a brown labradoodle.
We lost him last month and we think we are almost done with the tears but sometimes a thought or picture surprises. On this card he is a puppy, but he sure did grow and when he stood next to our kitchen table, he could rest his chin on the table (which of course was not allowed.) We will miss him forever.
My card is dark navy and I cut the die out of the cs and glued it onto a tan background. The flowers are a Memory Box die. Sentiment is SU and cute puppy is Stampland. Thanks for looking.

This puppy image is so sweet, I love how he has his head cocked to the side, listening. I'm so sorry for your loss...yes, the strangest thing can trigger a memory and then the tears. After 9 years, is still shed a tear when I thinko of a sweet memory of our Boss, a yellow lab. Our furry friends mark our hearts, and aren't we the lucky ones to have been blessed with their companionship. Big hugs and TFS this card and your story.

It is so hard to lose a pet - they become like your children. I am sorry for your loss -- your card is adorable - I love the navy and light blue together and your puppy is adorable too!!

My heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your Rufus. My grandchildren and I have gotten to know a gentleman who walks his big Labradoodle in their neighborhood, and we love it when we see them out walking so we can pet him. We have a Golden Retriever, but have lost two Labs in the past; it is so hard to lose a beloved pet and companion!
The stamp you've used on this card captures the sweet and fun personality of a puppy perfectly! I love the overlay of die cut flowers.
