For this week's playground wtui challenge, using this week's sketch (stretched) for the layout.
I've always liked the long jump ropes, when lots of kiddos could participate. Fun opportunity for cardio and coordination, rhythm and rhyme, social, cooperation, even service, when it's your time to turn one of the ends. Do you remember "Not last night but the night before"? What are some of the other jumping rhymes? I always liked "teddy bear, teddy bear".

Super darling image Brenda. it works so wonderfully with the sketch too, great bright happy colors on the card too. I so wish I had a jump rope, I would use it for exercise. I use to love to jump rope.

Sweet card, great take on the sketch too. I don't know either of the ryhymes you mention. But I have a much loved book which was my mother's when she was a child (Martin Pippin in the Daisy-Field); one of the stories in it is all about skipping. I don't know enough to know if Eleanor Farjeon made-up her own rhymes for it, but the one I best remember from it is "Andy Spandy, sugardy candy...'

This is so fun! Love the bright pastel blocks of color on the frame part of your card, and that skinny purple frame around the image totally rocks. TFS!
