Both my Irish nephews have birthdays next month, and I thought I could use Toni's PLaying Safe WT challenge today to make a card for the younger one - he's getting a Ghostbusters dressing up outfit from us.
Wrinkle free distress for the front background, then I stamped the map. Stamped and embossed the sentiment. Added a good sprinkling of chunky EP plus some cobalt at the bottom, to ground the little pirate bear. He's stamped on white card, coloured with pencils and fussy cut. I edged the whole card front with gold.
The tutorial for the pop-up book card can be found HERE. I used some old 12x12 card, and added a little pirate ship and a sentiment to send the imagination soaring, distressed and crumpled to look a little like an old chart.

I so love Popcorn Bear and what a fantastic darling card Sabrina! Love this fold. It has been a while since I used it, I might just need to play with it again.

My, oh my, oh my, this is an amazing, super fabulous boy card! Love the magical scene you created on the front with the map dp and that cute pirate bear just begging to be included in the next adventure. I've never seen embossing powder used like you did to make a textural base to ground an image, what a neat design idea, and so perfect for this card. Just wow! And the inside of this card is a rock-star as well...your nephew is going to go bonkers when he gets this card, it will fire his imagination for sure! A++++ and then some! TFS
