I'm sending a package for Arbor Day as a distraction to a friend who is waiting for surgery. The WT Challenge to use a tree was perfect for Arbor Day. The sketch challenge provided a nice layout. I thought this verse from Psalm 91:1 was a lovely tie-in to the tree theme - shelter, shadow. Also, it would be a comfort and encouragement for our friend. I used three different shades of green for the cardstock and gold embossing for the stamping. Thanks for looking!

I always associate that verse with wings, but it's a perfect match with the concept of a sheltering tree. What a great idea for the challenge, and a beautiful card.

Stunning card creation Diane! I love the texture of the scalloped border and your shiny gold embossing! Beautiful card! Thanks for joining the sketch challenge this week!
