The Ways to Use It challenge this week is "Plant a Tree" and the Free for All is "Mother Earth" - both in honour of Earth Day.
I was crafting with a couple of friends (including Christine, aka calex on SCS) and we used alcohol inks on Yupo paper to create backgrounds of earth and sky. Christine just posted a card for the Mix-ability challenge using a stamp on her background - check it out here:

Ah...even before I scrolled down to your write-up, I wondered if it was Yupo. It seems to give the alcohol inks an extra vibrancy. This makes me think of stained glass.

I wondered at first if it was wax. What gorgeous intensity! I love the simple tree silhouette you chose to put on top of your background. The best of both worlds! Lovely card!

Susan, this is beautiful. Those alcohol inks look awesome. I remember seeing Christine's gorgeous card.
