I stamped the Christmas tree from Stampin'Up "Season of Joy" on to vellum and attached it behind my embroidered needle work.
The embroidery is done with a thread that changes color.
The opening in the white cardstock is made with a classic circle Nestabilities and 4 golden corner stickers to decorate the corners.
On the inside on the right side of my card I stamped a Different Colors text stamp onto a Marianne design die cut: LR0242 and added 4 golden stickers to the corners.
The stamped sentiment from Different Colors says :
"Its dark outside and fireworks lighten the air.
Indoors the champagne pops. Candles and light make Christmas cozy, and provide for the beginning of a new Year".
On the second photo you can see the light of a burning tea light shining through the vellum on the front of my card.

Wow, that embroidery is amazing. And I love the tree on vellum with the light shining through - what a special Christmas card. The golden corners finish it off beautifully.

The textures on this card are amazing! I love the embroidery versus the smoothness of the vellum. It is quite wonderful to see the candlelight through your tree!
