I thought Pauline would like to see the little birds on this and know that they were bringing her mail. The stencil had little hearts in the pattern so I pierced them instead of sponging. I added the flowers just to make the card a little prettier.

Youre checked background is outstanding. So is the piercing. You might want to check Monday's challenge. Judy challenged us with paper piercing. This is really a very special card, Pat.

This card is wonderful! I love the way you did the background AND the foreground, and that mailbox with the birdies is super cute!

LOVE your blue and your clever artistic creation. I never would have thought of using the stencil like that...hmmm very neat, as well as the squares shaded like that. and how could one not be excited to get mail from cute little guys like this. A super cute way to bring along animal friends to the party...TFS...Saweet to the max...:0)
