Today, Sabrina challenges us to make a card re an ad. I must admit I was in the process of making a card for my card club making new folds. I don't know what this fold is called, so I'll call it a "room fold." This little guy did remind me of the Gorton Fisherman...which, BTW, I was fortunate enough to see in Boston...well, I saw the statue of the Gorton Fisherman.
Hope you all have a good day...gonna be nice here in PA, so I'll be outside trying desperately to clean up more flower beds and cutting grass. Back later to check out the gallery, which I am sure will be a fun one....and comment.

Darling card, Vicky. I know the statue you mean with the fisherman in his slicker at the wheel. Your coloring is SO beautifully done on this creative fold card.

This is SO adorable Vicky!! It makes me sad to see this child missing someone. Such a sweet card. Great coloring and sponging on your edges to create the gray day. I think I too will be cutting our grass for the first time today.

Cute image, Vicky -reminds me of the rain gear my mother had to buy us all one summer holiday when it didn't stop raining and she'd forgotten to pack any for us. I'll have to look your fisherman up - he didn't come up in my radar when I was in Boston - though I did get to see the Make Way for Ducks.
