I drew my diagonal shapes on white paper then cut out my dp from those. I colored the sunflower and added wink of stella to it. (clear) I colored the sentiment with copic markers then added the pearls. Before I attached the sentiment and flower I embossed the background. I turned the sketch, then I added it to pumpkin cardstock for the base.

The embossed background makes it look like the DSP is actually printed on the white card stock. I love how the embossing goes with the focal image. Superb!

Love your big, bold sunflower. The way you rotated the sketch makes your card look like a window with curtains at the side, looking out into the garden.
