Hello, Well, I painted two of these this morning, this one where I wet the entire blossom ball and tapped the two colors, the other one I painted each small flower inside the ball separately...I decided I liked this sort of free form one better. I am not a water colorist and need lessons but every once in a while I get it into my head to try!! LOL! I used Peerless water colors. The ribbon is seam binding unevenly dyed and wrinkled while drying then tied in a triple loop on my bow maker.
thanks for looking!

Wow, my friend!! I love hydrangeas and yours is off-the-charts with the awesome coloring - should do more!! I've not started my card yet, but a hydrangea is at the top of my list! Love your work, Robin!!

Gorgeous! The colors ran together so beautifully and I agree about watercoloring, my nemesis but I keep trying! Your leaves on this are beautiful, Robin! I have struggled with this technique but yours turned out so pretty!

This is a beauty, Robin! It's fun to play around with watercoloring and try new techniques. I really like how this turned out, and polished off with your lovely bow!
