First, I have to thank Barbara for picking my card last week. This community of stampers is the best....you made me very happy, and happy is good. Today's challenge is brought to us by Maura. Tricking color that elegant eggplant can be with it's vibrant hues. When I need to make a card in a short time, my trusting brushes come out. Used a #6 flat brush with the reinkers and water to paint the flowers and leaves. The leaves on the right didn't look so good. Cut it out and then designed the card. Using inspiration from a card that Gail made last Sunday embossed the die in the corner and added score lines. Using my dip pen wrote the sentiment....need more practice, but it is so much fun. Will be back later to comment...busy day. Thanks again for starting my day in the most pleasant way. TFL

Gorgeous!! I love the dark blooms going diagonally across the card as if it were a garland! You finished the whole design beautifully with the embossing and hand written sentiment!

Linda, your painting is outstanding! How I enjoy seeing it too! Love the idea of cutting out the image and the partial embossing on the card base! This is so beautifully done!

Your flowers looked so 3-D that I had to click on it for a closer look to see how how you did it. Surprised they were water colored, the way they pop off the page. Amazing!
