It is my pleasure to be your hostess this week. I hope you like the colors I chose: Pink Pirouette, Pool Party and Mossy Meadow. But instead of a floral card, I'm challenging you to put animals on your card (the dessert option!).
I used a new-to-me stamp set and dies from Avery Elle, Woodland Wonders. I started with a piece of watercolor paper and some Pool Party and Mossy Meadow inks and an AquaPainter. I scribbled a blue sky with some wisps of clouds, and some grasses in the foreground. I stamped and cut the figures with the dies, then colored with Copics. I wanted the baby bird and nest to be trimmed closer, so I fussy cut that piece.
I'm off to the hospital to have a hip replaced on Tuesday morning (4/5). It's time (more than)! I hope to see you all next week!

Barbara, this scene is adorable! And we both chose to watercolor with these pretty colors! I love your scene, and please know that prayers for a quick recovery will be coming your way tomorrow and in the days to come!

Great colors, Barbara, and the cutest card with those darling critters! You'll be in my thoughts as you go through surgery and hopefully as quick a recovery as possible!
Hugs,

Barbara, this is just a darling scene. I'm amazed at how differently people use the same three colors.
