My first attempt at the Slatted Basket featured on Spilcoaststampers. The directions by Betty Traciak were easy to follow. I am going to make several of these.

Congratulations on your very first upload to SCS, and what a beautiful slatted basket! I love the designer paper you've used and the beautiful velvet yo-yo flower with the pearl center - a perfect finishing touch. As a former quilter, I remember well making the yo-yo flowers. Beautifully done!
I know you'll find lots of inspiration and encouragement here at SCS, and perhaps you might consider joining a challenge found on the Home Page. Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful work! Hugs!
P. S. You might want to go to the Forum, "Start Here" and get familiar with SCS and perhaps introduce yourself (by starting a new thread). Here's a direct link.

Well, what a treat to see a yo-yo flower, it has been a long time. I made a quilt that I have in my living room, where I made 16 of those for the basket part of the quilt - they are so fun and look so great, as they do on your awesome basket here. I really love the colours you picked, and yes "Roses are Red". Welcome to SCS and congrats on starting your gallery off with this beauty.

Gosh, thank you to all who have loved my first SCS gallery photo. You will never know how much this means to me. I just started my blog and I have been overwhelmed with the amount of work that alone takes. It is wonderful to know that I have some kind, encouraging friends in the stamping world. Thank You again...
