For Ky's Outside the Foolish Box MIX challenge yesterday.
At least my boo-boo in putting my SAMJ sheet inky face down yesterday helped me realise that a square format would work better. My sponged rectangle did start more in the centre, I promise - but I ended up trimming the square down to leave a wide mat layer around it.
Rectangle masked and sponged with two inks, then spritzed. Stamped the houses, then masked off round the edges and used the Brusho spray for the sun (second medium). Stamped the sentiment when dry - so both my sentiment and the houses are out of the box. Distressed and scored the edges and added to a base with scored edges. Hmm - the grey panel looks pretty much like today's weather here.

Straight into my favs! I love everything about this. The splatters appearing as rain. The balance of yellows to grey, the perfect quote. The crumpled edge and the old town buildings. Sabrina, this is a fabulous card!

Extremely creative way to make your image match your sentiment - I am amazed at the way you mix up your spritzing and spraying to get such a remarkable masked image for your card!! Bravo!!
