A card for the Alphabet challenge this week.....the letter 'K'. It was a double challenge and we were to focus on the base card. The title suggests that this is an image of our Kathy when she was young. Remember picking those strawberries? I used a double sided patterned paper, die cutting the sentiment from the back side. In order to make it stand out, I used a white gel pen to outline the first letters and also to dot the rest. The image was stamped in brown and fussy cut. I left it uncoloured, so as to focus more on the dp base. In the inside I added a white insert for the message.

Isn't that neat that Kathy loved picking strawberries when she was younger. Or did you know that already? Yes, that is a great dsp. background for this to leave the image uncolored. Well done. Love the dotted die cut words too.

Kute Kard for Letter K and Kathy! Amazing background. The uncolored girl image is wonderful for the dark background. I like the die-cut Happy Birthday. Klever ideas! TFS
