A variation of a card I made last November. It's for the SCS Christmas Card Challenge. The March theme is villages, houses, doors or windows decorated for Christmas.
I inked up an embossing folder with a grey/blue ink before running it through the Cuttlebug - that got the debossed sections partly coloured, but I wanted a bit more colour on it so swiped the ink pad on the raised sections.
I cut two layers of the window die and put some dp behind it. I cut three layers of the window box and glued punched pine branches to the back of it. Added ribbon, a bow, and red gemstones. For snow under the window box, I used Flower Soft.

Susan, your backdrop for this beautiful window just grabbed me! I just love the patterned paper in the window and the foliage in the window box! What a great card!
This is gorgeous! I love the effect you achieved with the embossing folder.
