I'm finally finding some time to get a couple of layouts done before the month is up. I've combined these two pages for the Good-bye Winter, Hello Spring Virtual Scrapbooking challenge.
The left side: Hello Spring! I used the first sketch for the month and turned it. I changed one of the 4x6 photos to be my journaling and the circle to be my photo.
The right side: Good-bye Winter: I used darker cold colors. For my title I mimicked the shirts they made to honor a band volunteer (he has cancer). They dedicated the piece they played to him and sold the T-shirts for a fundraiser.
Thanks for looking...great challenges!

Such a lovely layout. I love the titles as well. What happens when you scan the barcodes? I've never seen anyone use them on a page - will have to keep that in mind for the future. tfs!

Liz, the Sizzix talking tags has an app that you download to your smartphone, you scan to record, then scan to play (you have the option to cancel and re-record if you don't like it). It records one minute of sound. I'm not sure they're available anymore through Sizzix, but that doesn't mean you can't find at another site.
