What wonderful paintings! THIS watercolor really inspired me.
I started by making a watercolor bg w/ a series of washes for the ground, sky & hillside in the back right. When dry, I die cut it, placed it my Misti & stamped the barn scene w/ Memento.
Since the colors for the barn would be darker, I just added some detail watercolor on top of the barn. It turned out to be a little darker than I wanted, so I stamped the barn roof & front again on a separate piece of w/c paper, used Brushos on the roof (to get the rusty look), painted the front, then paper pieced them on top of the original. Then I die cut w/ a pierced circle, added the white circle & put them back on top for a sort of spotlight look. A narrow white frame & the die cut Hello were attached on top.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & the inside are on my blog: The Write Stuff
