I'm on a roll today for Carla aka Covington Crafter's terrific VSN challenge.....Give Me a Head With Hair!!
I tried to join in Carla's challenge yesterday, I stamped this image on vellum and learnt the hard way that touching stamped vellum (before heat setting) isn't a good idea.
When I make backgrounds I usually do a full A4 sheet, so here is some more of the Brusho cardstock I made for my other card.
With the magic of MISTI I stamped this image (and sentiment) about 10 times with Versafine to get it to look dark enough on the hectic background. I added a few flicks with a beautiful Gelli Roll pen that was a RAK from JodyLynn.
Thank you for looking.

This is Gorgeous!!!! Notice I used a capital G. Your bg looks psychedelic and perfect with your silhouetted flower child. You are rockin my challenge. I think we need some kind of exchange going and will have to figure out what we bring to each other's house!

Fabulous image, Susie. I LOVE your background, also. I think my hair may have looked like that yesterday in the March winds except it didn't have all those pretty designs in it....just the windswept look.

That dramatic background is incredible, Susie! It makes me think of big crashing waves - totally a different track to flowing flower-filled hair. I usually try to use Archival black or even StazOn on vellum - even the Archival needs a few minutes to dry. But isn't it worth the effort!!

I was window shopping because 123 sent me an email this morning... and I had come across this stamp thinking it would be so perfect for this challenge... and so, it is very cool to see I was right, I love the colors you chose for this Susie

Another wonderful card - with so much to gaze at. She definitely has that "windswept and interesting" look about her. She would really fit in here well today - cold southerly wind coming up from Victoria (ha ha).
