For Merla's brand new from stash vsn challenge. I've had this stamp for a while. I remember a friend looking at it before I purchased it, saying "Looks like a lot of coloring to me." I bought it anyway, and it's sat unused for about a year and a half. I figured it'd work for Merla's challenge and timely, as tomorrow's the first day of spring here in the northern hemisphere.
I embossed the watercolored image over a patch of aida cloth to add some texture.
Also for this week's spring critters CAS challenge.

Cute image and colored so well. I love that little frog. I find I'm getting out old stamps that need coloring and enjoying them fully. I used to get so frustrated. Guess that's what comes with age and retirement ;)

Such a cute little frog! You did an excellent job coloring him too. I find coloring quite relaxing and fun. I hope you did too. Thanks for being a part of my challenge!
Oh, I love that frog! And the colors are great that you matched with cs and coloring here. I am glad that you finally got this stamp inked up, because it made a great card!

Unfrogettable card. Love the image. I like how you colored just enough and in the best places. The flowers are bright and happy and the frog is so cute. Great sentiment for the day you made your card. It has felt like Spring for awhile over here; we've had temps in the 80s & 90s. Your card will brighten anyone's day. I'm sure you're glad to finally use your stamp. TFS
