Who knew there were so many techniques for embossing?? I guess Sonja did cuz her challenge was to try a new one. I used the multicolor embossing. I have tons of different powders that I never use. So I took advantage of breaking those out. The flowers on this are in a deep sparkly midnight blue like color and the stems and leaves are in evergreen. I used washi tape to mask out the first color I used. It's kind of hard to see the color distinction in the photo (I even waited til this morning to get some day light for this). I also did some scoring on this..also hard to see. I will use this technique again..I think it turned out pretty cool!

Polly this is amazing! Love the great BG you created and that flower on top is icing on the cake for this card. This card is CAS perfection and a super sympathy card.

Oh, I can clearly see the colour difference, and I am amazed and impressed that you chose such a detailed image to try this technique with - kudos to you.

Such beautiful, deep shades on the branch. The embossing really adds depth of texture and light to the composition. thanks for playing in my challenge. I am so happy you enjoyed and found a new way to use those powders!

This is STUNNING! What a perfect image to use for this technique; so dramatic on the light background. Into my faves.
