Loved the challenge to-day. Thanks Robin. Mother's Day will be here soon and when Noofy Jr. was little there was always a mason jar full of dandylions on the coffee table. Seems in our neck of the woods dandylions are the only flower that has even made an effort to appear. I stamped the mason jar on a piece of vellum and cut it out. The stems were scraps but I think they came from Memory Box and at one time had flowers attached! LOL I punched lots of flowers with a $tore punch, sprayed them with water, scrinched them up and let them dry. The leaves are a two step punch from Nellie Snellen. The top corner was scored and I used a dressmaker's tracing wheel to make the stitching.

Yes! Mason jars with flowers ... dandelions, those little purple fake-orchid-looking 'weeds' (a.k.a. wildflowers) .... and even roses! Love your paper version of a long-time beloved memory!

This is incredibly beautiful - simple and stunning. Nothing better than a vase of garden picked flowers - even common little dandelions will do. Love the crinkly look to the flowers.
