Susan, Shirl and I had had a wonderful day playing at Lolls my favorite was the copper. Loll showed us how to heat it with a burner and to use alcohol inks and get some wonderful colours. I don't have a creme brulee burner so could only use my alcohol inks. I also have mostly wafer dies which can be tough to make a clean cut. I added a layer of card stock behind the copper and it seemed to work, although this could have been luck, I'll let you know on my next attempt .
I decided the leaf was so pretty and delicate that I wanted to keep it that way. I opted for a CAS OLC and love the way it turned out. I just put my order in for some copper, I'm such a sucker for new techniques. I'm sure there will be a few more to follow

That leaf is gorgeous! I can relate to cutting copper with wafer dies too. I love that you featured the leaf and kept the card simple using script on your background. Beautiful work with copper!

This is so pretty Christine. Love that you kept it very CAS so the leaf is the star! Looking forward to hearing how the thinner copper you're getting works with the wafer thin dies. xx
