Another copper card made during a day of fun with crafty friends.
This beautiful maple leaf die is wafer thin, so I had a heck of a time getting it cut from copper. I made sure to use it for a card after all my hard work.
I simply added some red and yellow alcohol inks dripped onto the copper leaf, blotting here and there with a paper towel. I love the colours mixed with the copper. I dry embossed the background with woodgrain, and added a simple black banner sentiment with white heat embossing.

I haven't tried this but LOVE the look of the alcohol ink on copper! I did laugh my head off about cutting copper with a wafer thing die! Oh my gosh, that could take an entire afternoon getting it cut. The leaf does look gorgeous against the wood grain embossing! Beautiful card!

Loll it look so beautiful with the wood grain background. I loved playing with the copper and can't wait to try out the piece you gave me. I have mostly wafer dies, so wish me luck
